Fees

In the event that you chose us to assist you with your legal needs, and we undertake your representation, you can expect attention, down-to-earth communication and outstanding professional service from us. Our legal fees vary based on the nature of the representation and are subject to negotiation on a case-by-case basis. We do not strive to undertake every possible case. We do not offer our services at discounted prices, but at the same time we do not offer a discounted quality service and we have no hidden costs. We usually charge for our services by the hour, however, based on case-by-case agreements, we also undertake certain projects on contingency fee basis or fixed payment.

Preliminary consultation: free

Regular consultation: $200 or 200 euros (credit against our legal fees in the future)

Regular hourly rate: $300 – 400/hour, based on matter type

Contingency fee: between 10 to 40%, based on matter type, subject to negotiation

Fixed fee: varies based on matter type, subject to negotiation

The preliminary consultation is a general informal communication between You, a prospective client, and our law office via the phone or e-mail, whereby You tell us the basics of your case. The preliminary consultation provides an opportunity for You to get to know us a little better and, based on the genaral information we provide You about your case, decide whether to schedule a regular consultation with us to discuss the details of your case.

During a regular consultation, which usually happens in a face-to-face meeting or sometimes over the phone, You present to us the details of your case, based upon which we provide you with an initial assessment.

The preliminary consultation or the regular consultation creates no obligation for You to retain our law office. Such an agreement between You and the law office only comes into effect when, based on a preliminary consultation or a regular consultation, you wish to retain our law office to handle your legal work and we agree to represent you.

The law office is dedicated to help people in need and serve the public good. We therefore, in certain exceptional cases agree to provide legal service to persons in need free of charge or for a nominal amount.
